Is the laser treatment painful?
The laser treatment is painless. You will be given numbing eye drops to minimize any discomfort. Some patients report a slight feeling of pressure, but no pain.
Can laser treatment cause blindness?
No. The use of modern technologies and experienced doctors ensure a high level of safety. It is one of the safest medical procedures.
How long does the result last?
The results are usually permanent. You can enjoy clear vision for many years. Slight changes may occur as you age, but these rarely require further treatment.
Can presbyopia be treated with laser?
Yes, there are special procedures to treat presbyopia. We are one of the few centers in Germany that can laser presbyopia. Alternatively, we can also replace the lenses. There are several procedures to make you free from glasses. The best thing to do is just come by and we'll take a look at it for you.
I have dry eyes. Can I still have laser treatment?
Yes, dry eyes can be treated and controlled before treatment. We can also perform SMILE Pro, which greatly reduces the risk of dry eyes.
When will I be able to see again after laser treatment?
Most patients see significantly better the day after treatment. Full visual acuity is achieved in the following weeks. You can quickly return to your normal activities. Usually after just two days.
Will I be lasered by Professor Shajari personally?
Yes, Professor Shajari personally carries out the laser treatments. You can rely on the highest quality standards and experience.
